Jane is Assistant Director of Early Intervention Services. She graduated from the University of Alabama with BS, MA degrees as well as an Ed.S degree in Special Education. MA degrees/certifications are in Special Education, Counseling and Psychometry. She served as TriCounty’s first EI director. Prior to that, she was a Director of Special Education Services at Winfield City Schools, Middle School administrator, Testing Coordinator, Psychometrist, Title VI Coordinator, Middle School Counselor, and served on the Executive Committee of Alabama State Course of Study, as well as Collaborating with Marshal Space Flight Center to write a project for Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. She was twice the chair of Northwest Alabama Early Intervention Coordinating Council, served on Alabama’s Positive Behavior Support Team, on the Advisory Committee for Civitan Inclusion Project (UAB Sparks), and has presented at the International Portage Conference in Larnaca, Cyprus regarding serving children with autism via parent training.
She has spent many years serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in the school, mental health, and early intervention systems. She is a wife and mother, as well as the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren.
